Football Gamebreak

Saturday, Nov. 15

This Saturday, the CUA football team (8-1) will host the Bridgewater Eagles in their final home game of the year. CUA will be playing for the 2008 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA playoffs.

Game tickets for alumni are only $4, and can be purchased at the gate on game day. The CUA Alumni Association and the CUA football team will sponsor the final pre-game tent party of the season starting at 11:30 a.m. with giveaways, free food and drinks. There will be a cookout, with hot chocolate and an MP3 player giveaway. The weather forecast is predicting a beautiful fall day with termperatures in the low 60s.

The last conference championship for football was in 1999 when Tom Clark led the Cardinals to a 9-2 record, and so the entire Catholic University community will be on-hand to cheer the Cardinals to victory. REMEMBER TO WEAR YOUR CUA CARDINAL COLORS!

Kick-off is at 1 p.m.

PARENTS: Starting at 11:30 a.m., Alpha Phi Omega hosts Kids on Campus Day. Alums with children ages 13 and under can participate in this event, which includes free food, arts and crafts, face painting and field day activities!
