Greetings from your Alumni Class Committee and the Catholic University Alumni Association! Can you believe it has been 50 years since we graduated from CUA? This year, Cardinal Weekend is set for Friday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 25. Get in touch with your college friends and classmates and plan to come back to campus for a weekend of memories and fun new times together!

Thursday, October 22

Class of 1965 Cocktail Reception hosted by Jude and Mary Fran (Bizot) Franklin
3 - 7 p.m.

No cost but registration is required.

Jude and Mary Fran Franklin invite members of the Class of 1965 to their home for a special gathering to start Cardinal Weekend 2015 and celebrate their 50th Class Reunion.

Class of 1965 Welcome Reception

Cost: $30 per person includes a lunch buffet, cocktails, and a chance to catch up with all of your classmates. 

Nursing Alumni Networking Reception and Speaker Panel
6 - 8 p.m.
Scullen Room, Pangborn Hall, CUA Campus
$25 alumni and friends; students no charge

Join fellow nursing alumni for a networking reception and get an update on the School of Nursing from Dean McMullen. Christine Margaret McManus Harrington, B.S.N. 1987, Office of Health Services of the Peace Corps; Alexis Brown Bakos, B.S.N. 1987, M.S.N. 1992, Senior Advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Minority Health in the Office of Minority Health in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; Daria Amato, B.S.N. 1988, M.S.N. 1992, Associate Professor at Northern Virginia Community College; Mary Anne Hilliard, B.S.N. 1987, J.D. 1992, Vice President of Safety and Patient Experience and Chief Risk Counsel at Children's National Health System will tell the story of how they built their careers, sharing advice and anecdotes. Networking with fellow alumni will follow the panel. Students and alumni from all decades are welcome!

Kick off the weekend with fellow Cardinals who are back "home" in Washington, D.C. Appetizers and drink specials will be provided for CUA alumni. Cash bar.  

Saturday, October 24

Alumni Pre-Game Tent Party
Join the pre-game tent party for good food, music, and fun for all ages! A ticket to the football game is included with each tent ticket. There will be reserved tables for all reunion classes, young alumni, SPD, ADG, KTG, Knights of Columbus, Golden Cardinals, President's Society, Nursing, and Senators Club, and a moon bounce and face-painting for the kids.

10:30 a.m. admission for all reunion classes (0s and 5s)

Cheer on the CUA Cardinals as they take on the Wasps of Emory and Henry College.

Sunday Mass is celebrated with special intentions for the 50-year reunion Class of 1965 and all of CUA's Golden Cardinals.

Champagne Brunch Honoring All of CUA's Golden Cardinal Reunion Classes
Including reserved tables for our Reunion Class Golden Cardinals from the Class of 1965, 1960, and 1955, to celebrate their 50th, 55th, and 60th reunions. 
All Catholic University alumni, staff, faculty, and guests are invited to celebrate CUA alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more. 

Noon (After Mass) - 2 p.m.

Cost: $35 per person
