Alumni Relations

The Senior Class Gift campaign is an opportunity for seniors to come together one last time before graduation in order to promote a philanthropic spirit among the graduating class. By providing an opportunity to start giving back to alma mater, CUA seniors take their first steps toward becoming proud alumni and help to ensure a bright future for the next generation of Catholic University students.

Why give?

Tuition does not cover all of the Catholic University experience. If you look at the big picture, you will find that a lot of the elements that make CUA great—the rigorous academics, the student resources, and the service programs—are only possible through the support of our alumni donors.

Think about your time here at Catholic University. If there was one moment that changed your life, one friend that made a difference, one class that solidified your career path, one event that you will never forget, one moment that made you who you are today… that is your reason to give back.

2017 Goal

Where does the money go?

Volunteer Description

Senior Class Gift Committee members are current seniors who partner with the CUA Fund to carry out the Senior Class Gift Campaign.  Members are responsible for cultivating a spirit of philanthropy among the senior class and educating their fellow classmates about what it means to be a good member of the CUA alumni community.

Committee members should successfully solicit to at least 25 classmates during the academic year. Members will solicit gifts from their peers in an effort to foster philanthropic giving habits toward the University and increase the number of eventual young alumni who support the University financially.

Committee members are recruited based upon on their leadership qualities, involvement on campus, and their desire to leave behind a legacy at CUA. Solicitations from the University can only do so much – there is no more compelling request than a Senior Class Gift Committee member asking a peer to invest in the University!
