Cardinal Weekend 2015 will be held October 23-25, 2015.

The Catholic University of America cordially invites all alumni -- from the Golden Cardinals to the Class of 2015 -- and their families to Cardinal Weekend this fall, Oct. 23-25!

The schedule of events continues to grow, with new ones being added every day! Please continue to check back for updates throughout the months of August and September.


Be sure to visit the lodging and frequently asked questions (FAQs) pages to help plan your weekend back on campus and in Washington, D.C.

Thursday, October 22

School of Engineering Alumni Cardinal Weekend Luncheon*

No cost but this event is by invitation only.

The School of Engineering will honor the 2015 Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Letitia A. Long, M.S.E. 1988, former director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, at the luncheon. Engineering alumni who would like to attend should contact the dean's office at harpera@cua.edu or 202-319-5178.

Class of 1965 Cocktail Reception hosted by Jude and Mary Fran (Bizot) Franklin

Jude and Mary Fran Franklin invite members of the Class of 1965 to their home for a special gathering to start Cardinal Weekend 2015 and celebrate their 50th Class Reunion.

Homeless Food Run with Campus Ministry
3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Meet in front of the P.O.D. store, Lower Level of the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center
Cost: Metro cards will cost approximately $7 per person

Spend quality time sharing conversation and nourishment with those in need in downtown D.C. Food, which is donated by the University dining hall, is handed out to those in need by the CUA community. Many homeless people are not only hungry, but just want someone to talk to, so your companionship makes a huge difference in their lives. 

University Honors Program Alumni Reception and 30th Anniversary Celebration

Alumni Pre-Game Tent Party
Join the pre-game tent party for good food, music, and fun for all ages! A ticket to the football game is included with each tent ticket. There will be reserved tables for all reunion classes, young alumni, SPD, ADG, KTG, Knights of Columbus, Golden Cardinals, President's Society, Nursing, and Senators Club, and a moon bounce and face-painting for the kids.

The Thaddeus Aubry and Leon LeBuffe Endowed Scholarship was established to acknowledge and honor Misters Aubry and LeBuffe for the work they did in establishing the Partnership Program, a minority scholarship program that began in 1969 to benefit promising young students from the Washington, D.C. area. Join fellow alumni and friends for light fare and refreshments as this year's scholarship recipients are recognized.
