CARDINAL KICKOFF - CUA VS. MCDANIEL

Kick off the Cardinal football season with the Alumni Association on Friday, Aug. 31, at 5:30 p.m., as the Cardinals football team takes on the Green Terror of McDaniel College at Cardinal Stadium. To register, visit www.cuatoday.com/cardinalkickoff2012.

GOLDEN CARDINALS BRUNCH AND PERFORMANCE
Join the Golden Cardinals (alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more from CUA) for a brunch at The Inn at Brookeville Farm followed by the performance of Over the Tavern at Olney Theater on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 11:30 a.m. John Going, B.A. 1958, is the director. PANEL DISCUSSION ON THE CATHOLIC VOTE

Join the Alumni Association Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, from 7 to 10 p.m. in Father O'Connell Hall for a panel discussion of the ways in which American Catholics might use their vote to express their opinions and values, how (or if) the Catholic vote might influence election outcomes, whether candidates will pursue the Catholic vote, and how. The panel will be followed by a coffee and dessert reception.To register, visit www.cuatoday.com.

NEW LOOK AND NAME FOR CUA MAGAZINE
CUA Magazine is now The Catholic University of America Magazine. The redesigned magazine has a more contemporary and cleaner look. The content has been repackaged for an easier read. There are more class notes and alumni profiles. And the title of the magazine now uses the full name of the University. MARK YOUR CALENDARS: FINIAN'S RAINBOW
Join the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music on Friday, Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the Upper Lobby of Hartke Theatre for a pre-performance reception followed by the performance of Finian's Rainbow, at 7:30. Other performances take place on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. Tickets go on sale at the end of September. Be sure to get the special alumni price. SAN FRANCISCO MISSION TOUR AND MASS -- OCT. 13
The Northern California Chapter invites you to historic Old Mission Dolores, San Francisco, for a Mass, tour, and lunch on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012. Mission San Francisco de Asis, affectionately known as Mission Dolores, was established under the direction of Franciscan Friars in 1776.
