CUA sweethearts Maria DiZebba Caridi, B.A. 1991, M.Arch 1996, and Michael J Caridi, B.A. 1994, J.D. 1997, celebrate the birth of their son Thomas Anthony on Jan. 19, 2010. Thomas joins his 3-year-old brother, Vincent, at the family's home in Laurel, Md.
Carissa Tudryn, B.M.E. 2000, married Dr. Alexis Weber on Nov. 14, 2009. During the couple's honeymoon in Peru, they took a four-day hike to Machu Picchu.
Kathleen Tosco, B.A. 1974, and Bob Small, M.F.A. 1974, recently returned from a Rotary sponsored clean water project in the Dominican Republic. Kathleen is district governor for Rotary District 6360 and Bob is president-elect of his Rotary club in Portage, Mich., welcomed their first child, Maximilian Joseph LaVerne, on Jan. 6.

Twentieth Annual Elizabeth Stone Lecture at CUA
On Tuesday, April 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Caldwell Hall Auditorium, the CUA School of Library and Information Science is proud to host The Twentieth Annual Elizabeth W. Stone Lecture.
This year's lecture, titled "Scholarship, Cultural Memory and Libraries in the 21st Century," will be delivered by Clifford A. Lynch, executive director, Coalition for Networked Information (CNI), USA. A reception will follow.

This month, Catholic University is proud to recognize violinist Destiny Ann Hoyle, B.M. 2007, M.M. 2009, who was recently named one of several first-prize winners of the recent American Protégé International Piano and Strings competition in New York City. Catholic CUA is responding to a resurgence of interest in nuclear energy by offering a new Master of Science Program in Nuclear Environmental Protection.
