on Friday, December 3 at 7:30 in the Basilica of the National
Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for the Christmas Concert
and Pre-concert Reception.

A Christmas Carol at Ford's Theatre - December 5, 2010
Join the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future--and
fellow CUA Alumni--in the play that captures the magic and
joy of Dickens's classic. Act fast only two tickets left!

Young Alumni Christmas Party - December 9, 2010
Come celebrate the Christmas Season with your fellow
Catholic University graduates at Black Finn! Share stories
of Holidays past & raise a glass to the upcoming New Year.

Wreaths Across America - December 11, 2010
In honor and memory of those who made the ultimate
sacrifice in defending our freedom, the CUA Alumni
Association will lay wreaths on the graves of fallen
soldiers interred at Arlington National Cemetery.

Vatican Splendors Tour at Heinz History Center - January 9, 2011
Tour the "Vatican Splendors:  Journey Through
Faith and Art" exhibit with the CUA Alumni
Association at the Heinz History Center in
Pittsburgh, PA.

Presidential Inauguration of John Garvey - January 25, 2011
Please join us for the inauguration of John
Garvey as the fifteenth President of The
Catholic University of America. Limited

New York Public Library Tour - January 29, 2011

Join us at the New York Public Library for
a behind the scenes tour, visit to the
Scriptorium and entrance to the exhibit:

Robert Malesky
graduated from CUA

in Psychology. He is

Jerry McCoy
graduated from CUA
in 2002 with an M.S.
in Library Science. He
is the President of the
Silver Spring Historical
Society.

Class Notes

Kristen (Dwyer) Heist, B.M.E. 2002,
and her husband Matt, announce the
birth of their second child, Liam Carter,
on July 4, 2010. Kristen also earned a
M.M.E. degree from Johns Hopkins
University in May 2010.


Morton Rumberg, Ph.D. 1986, won
fifth place in the Writer's Digest 79th
Annual Short Story Competition.


David Keenan, 1976, was recently
promoted to VP of Angel Medical
Systems, Inc. (NJ). David worked
on the original design of an
innovative new cardiac implant that
detects signs of an impending
heart attack.


Angela Puglisi, M.F.A. 1974,
M.A. 1976, M.A. 1977, Ph.D.
1983
, was re-elected President
of the Catholic Academy of
Sciences in the U.S.


Sarah Cloonan, B.S. Arch. 2002,
graduated with an M.S. in
Architecture from Tulane University
in May 2009 and is currently
continuing her studies at Columbia
University's Graduate School of
Architecture.


Adam Weiss, B.S. 2003, and his
wife Victoria are excited to
announce the birth of their twins,
Gavin William and Hayleigh Marie,
on October 8, 2010.
