The Institute for Human Ecology and Thomistic Institute Summer Program for Catholic Doctoral Students in the Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
The week-long seminar will introduce students to central themes in the political and moral theory of Augustine, Aquinas, and modern constitutional jurisprudence. The program will include visits to institutions in DC and encounters with outstanding Catholic public figures. The seminar provides an outstanding way to think theoretically about the intersection of political theory, moral principles, and practical engagement, in the heart of the nation’s capitol.
Talks will be given by academic leaders in economics, sociology, and physics, framed by meals, prayer, and Mass.
This conference is open to qualified graduate students and advanced undergraduates.
Accepted students will have all expenses covered by scholarship.
Priority deadline for applications will be October 1.
